Welcome to Year 4
Year 4 is a stimulating year where independence grows. High expectations enable children to take pride in their work and begin to critically assess their own writings.

Homework is given out on a Friday and handed in on a Wednesday.
Spelling Tests are on a Thursday.

This term, our theme is ‘Rock N Roll in Year Four'. We will be travelling back to WW2 and learning all about Evacuation. We will be learning all about Rock and Roll music, as well as learning how to jive in PE. In Science, we will explore how electricity and sound are vital to our everyday lives, including making our own electrical circuits.
We are going to sample rationing recipes from WW2, take part in a WW2 Evacuation day at Winchcombe Station and create some beautiful WW2 inspired pieces of artwork.
